Canadian National Steel Bridge Competition

May 15 – 18th, 2019
For the last four years, Canadian universities conceive, build and assemble steel bridges respecting a realistic scenario. To distinguish themselves from other teams, a compromise must be made between the architectural aspect, technical and economic.
The Competition allows students to deepen their knowledge with a practical project. This human experience develops their interpersonal and professional skills. It encourages innovation and creates relationships between students and the industry.
The Canadian National Steel Bridge Competition 4th edition will be hosted by École Polytechnique de Montréal in Montreal, Quebec from May 15 – 18th, 2019.

Graduate from ÉTS in 2017, Marie-Pier is doing her master’s degree part-time while being a junior projects engineer. Having always been involved, she is now the General Director and Technical Manager of the Canadian National Steel Bridge Competition.
During her bachelor’s degree, she has been part of the Pont d’acier Hercule for 5 years. Captain in 2017 and co-captain in 2015-2016 her experience is precious for the committee.
Her positive, rigid and innovative leadership makes her a cornerstone of our team!
